Digital Literacy Scope and Sequence Final Project
My final project was to create a Digital Literacy Scope and Sequence for primary school. This was needed as Digital Literacy/Digital Citizenship has been taught in the past in a none consistant manner across grades and classes. The inconsistencies included the content being taught in different classes in the same grade and across grades. I always wanted to create a curriculum was that was based off of student ideas and questions as well as curricular connections and conversations with teachers.
As mentioned in Leading from the Library, it is important to curate resources as we get to know our school community to provide digital equity amount students. The following slideshow is the new primary school digital literacy scope and sequence that will continue to grow with input from students, teachers and curricular needs.
